The house we left the buyers was distinctly lived in. The floorboards in the kitchen were scratched beyond repair. The stoves were broken- in order for one to work, you’d have to turn on two at once, and as far as I can tell, the water heater never functioned properly. I remember being shocked whenever I used a sink at a friends house. When you turned the “hot” knob, warm water would come out — a novel concept to me.
